This was a tragic trucking accident where our client lost his wife due to the negligence of commercial truck driver. There were multiple involved vehicles, multiple people severely injured (including multiple surgeries), and hundreds of thousands of dollars in property damages claimed. To complicate matters further, the at-fault party’s insurance carrier had a total of only $1 million to cover all damages amongst all claimants, and the trucking company closed down and liquidated. Our team successfully argued that our client’s damages were significantly higher than all other damages combined. A Nevada Judge agreed and we were able to obtain just shy of 98% of all available insurance money to compensate our client and his family for their losses.
