This was a tragic semi-truck accident resulting in the death of our client, who had recently retired from the Kern County Sheriff’s department. The insurance company quickly offered the grieving widow $1.5 million for her silence, but she knew better. Our team stepped in, and we demanded that every penny of available insurance money must be paid. The insurance tendered the entire policy. Our office continues to sponsor an annual charity golf tournament in our client’s name that that goes toward educational scholarships given to college-bound Wasco High School students.
