Our client was side swiped by a semi-truck causing moderate damage to her vehicle. Defense initially denied liability blaming our client for being in a “blind spot” and then subsequently denied that the impact was strong enough to cause a lumbar injury. Our client had a minimally invasive back procedure that took away her pain. The case was ultimately settled at mediation for a fair amount.
