In this multi-car chain-reaction crash, our client was the third vehicle in a pile-up that resulted in varying degrees of injury to several parties. Although the property damage to our client’s vehicle was classified as mild to moderate, the physical toll was substantial: a mild traumatic brain injury (TBI), lumbar spine injuries requiring injections, and a shoulder injury that ultimately necessitated surgical intervention.
The complexity of this case was heightened by the fact that the occupants of the second vehicle in the chain sustained catastrophic injuries, including a severe brain injury and cervical spine trauma that required surgical fusion. With limited insurance coverage available and multiple high-value claims, the competition for compensation was intense.
Nevertheless, our firm fought vigorously to ensure our client’s injuries were not minimized or overshadowed by others in the collision. We built a strong case linking the crash to her full scope of injuries and treatment, and advocated relentlessly during negotiations.
In the end, we secured a very sizable share of the total available policy limits—demonstrating our ability to achieve exceptional outcomes even in high-stakes, multi-party litigation.
